A smoke advisory for Northern Colorado has been extended into Monday, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The alert will last through 4 p.m. for residents of Loveland, Fort Collins and Greeley.
The weather forecast shows that levels of ozone and particulate matter air in areas downwind from the High Park Fire will remain unhealthy for those with sensitive upper respiratory systems throughout the day. Depending on the wind shifts, the levels could become unhealthy for the general public as well.
